For every step of the process Chris went beyond the call of duty, taking every call and meeting every request- no matter how strange - with compassion, warmth, professionalism and a can-do attitude. Throughout what was the most difficult time of my life, and as the weeks passed closer to the day of my Dads funeral i only felt more and more fortunate to have CM Walkers services as a caring and accommodating guide through the process. No request seemed too big and no question went without a clear and swift answer. With the Covid restrictions and reduced attendance numbers this had the potential to be an even more distressing process than normal- we had to change the date of the service multiple times, we had to change the location of the service - each curveball Chris took in his stride and helped us find a quick and suitable resolution, keeping us all calm and together at a time when the smallest hitch made us feel like falling apart. We went for the Direct Cremation 2 option as funds were limited, and we were blown away by the service we received for this price, especially when many of the bigger funeral chains charge much more for the same or fewer services. With this option we never once felt we were doing a disservice to Dad or scrimping with his send off. Instead it was a truly special day made even more so by Chris"s brilliant and respectful leading of the service. A man that is truly very good at his job. All of this and much more for what is the most competitive prices in the country (when Chris says no hidden costs he means it) left me feeling lucky to have chosen CM Walkers to help us say goodbye to my Dad.

Chris advised his team would be there within 2 hours which they were and took her under their care.
